In 1975, the steam roller John Fowler, Leeds 14208/1914, was transferred to the Chodzież district of GDDKiA by the Public Road Operations District in Złotów.
The steam roller was manufactured in England in 1914 by the company "John Folwer" Ltd. and was about to be scrapped when employees of the Chodzież district of GDDKiA became interested in restoring it.
For 40 years it stood on a pedestal in front of the Chodzież Tax Office, when in 2011 it was moved to the Chodzież headquarters of GDDKiA.
In September 2016, it was handed over to the "Aero Bay Art" company, where it underwent a complete renovation for the amount of PLN 67,000. zloty.
